Coffee Market Report
The latest Commitment of Traders report from the New York arabica market has seen the Non-Commercial Speculative sector decrease their net short position by 46.01% within the market over the week of trade leading up to Tuesday 29th September 2026: to register a new net short position of 3,493 lots, which is the equivalent of 990,250 bags. This net short position has most likely been decreased further following the period of mixed but overall firmer trade that has since followed. The Commercial sector held 31,431 Lots or the equivalent of 8,910,550 bags net short position on the day, a decrease of 6.54% over the same week of trade.
